A Burntwood man has celebrated his 100th birthday.
Bernard Mills was sent hundreds of cards by well-wishers, while members of St Joseph’s Church also threw a surprise party in his honour.
A celebratory mass also saw him presented with a personal message from the Pope.
Among his cards were ones from King Charles and a personal letter from Cardinal Vincent Nichols.
