A Burntwood man has been arrested as part of a Staffordshire-wide crackdown on people supplying drugs.
The 24-year-old was held on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of a controlled drug of Class B.
He was one of 11 arrested by police in raids at addresses in Burntwood, Tamworth and Walsall, with the operation seeing around £100,000 in cash and drugs worth around £60,00 seized.
Detective Inspector Tim Boulton, from Staffordshire Police’s major and organised crime unit, said:
“The combined value of cash and drugs officers recovered as part of this operation provides some insight into the scale of organised crime we’ve been able to disrupt.
“I hope the results we have already seen serves as a warning to those involved in this type of crime.
“Information and intelligence from our communities is key and, if you report your concerns, then we will take action.”

Those arrested as part of the operation were:
- A 24-year-old man from Burntwood on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of a controlled drug of Class B.
- A 28-year-old man from Walsall on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of a controlled drug of Class B.
- A 29-year-old man from Tamworth on suspicion of possession with intent to supply a controlled drug of Class A and possession with intent to supply a controlled drug of Class B.
- A 29-year-old man from Tamworth on suspicion of being concerned in the offer to supply a Class B drug and cultivating a Class B controlled drug.
- A 31-year-old man from Tamworth on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs.
- A 31-year-old man from Tamworth on suspicion of possession with intent to supply a controlled drug of Class B.
- A 34-year-old man from Tamworth on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of a controlled drug of Class B.
- A 35-year-old man from Walsall on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of a controlled drug of Class B.
- A 35-year-old man from Tamworth on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of a controlled drug of Class B.
- A 40-year-old man from Swadlincote on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of a controlled drug of Class B.
- A 58-year-old woman from Tamworth on suspicion of money laundering.
