A BUTCHER'S business is celebrating success in "the rural Oscars".
Paul Shum Family Butchers, based at Woodmill Farm on Maker Lane in Yoxall, was awarded second place in this year’s Countryside Alliance Awards.
Having won three regional champion titles, the owners were invited to attend the awards ceremony at the House of Lords to receive the Midlands Champion Butcher prize.
They also collected the highly condensed national award.
Paul said:
"We were already very proud of our team, suppliers and amazing customers, but to achieve highly commended and second place nationally is amazing.
"We thank our loyal customers for nominating, voting and supporting us, year in, year out – we have the very best community.
"We accept both awards for our whole team who work so hard and with such care."
