A company has moved to Lichfield as part of a bid to grow the business.
Wrekin Products, which designs, manufactures and distributes manhole covers and steel access cover for the, has moved from its old home in Burton to a 47,000 sq ft facility on the Britannia Enterprise Park.
The expansion has seen the firm add three new employees to the existing 35 workers. A further two posts are expected to be added soon.
Sales director Simon Turner said: “Wrekin Products has always seen its new premises as a prerequisite to develop the business.
“The new offices in Lichfield are an ideal location to distribute products across the UK and the facilities and extra space offers the potential to expand some overseas business.
“There is also a dedicated training area for customers and staff, so it really pushes our business forward.”
Wrekin Products was founded in 1992 by current managing director Stan Turner.
