A fundraising drive for ground improvements at Whittington Cricket Club has reached its target.
The club reached the £25,000 milestone to help pay for three projects – new terracing, a raised viewing deck and a borehole.
The latter enhancement will provide water to irrigate the ground even during the hot and dry summer months.
Work is due to start on the schemes at the end of the cricket season.
