Students at Chase Terrace Technology College have recorded the school’s “strongest ever” set of A-Level results.
With university places at stake, more top grades than ever before were achieved.
The school also saw a fourth consecutive year of seeing more than half of studnets achieving at least on A* or A grade.
Head teacher, Dr Stuart Jones, said: “I am delighted for the whole school community.
“Students and staff have worked really hard to achieve these fantastic results.”
Among the success stories were:
- Grace Deavall – A* grades in English Language and Literature and Drama and an A grade in History
- Oliver Manley – an A* grade in Maths, A grades in Biology and Chemistry and a B in AS Physics
- Paige Hill – an A* grade in Photography, an A grade in Art and a Distinction* in Business Studies
- Amelia Such – straight A grades in Economics, History and Philosophy and Ethics
- Ryan Allwood – A grades in Psychology and Sociology and a Distinction* in Business Studies
- Rosie Tunley – an A* grade in Photography, an A grade in Art and a B in Psychology
- Callum Smith – an A* grade in Maths, an A grade in Physics and an A in AS Further Maths
- Adam Ashcroft – Distinction* in IT and Business Studies and a B in Photography
- Dan Chamberlin – an A grade in Psychology, a Distinction* in Music Technology and B grades in Sociology and AS Photography
- Becky Flanagan – A grades in English Language and Literature and History and B grades in Psychology and AS Politics
- Hannah Spencer – A grades in Photography and Media Studies and a B in English Language and Literature).
