Chasetown FC have been drawn against the world’s oldest football club in the FA Trophy.
The Scholars will make the journey to Sheffield FC in the first qualifying round on October 16.
Charlie Blakemore’s men will be hoping to break their recent run of bad form in knockout competitions, after they were ditched out of the Walsall Senior Cup and the FA Cup at the first hurdle.
And a repeat of their 2-1 friendly victory on the eve of the season would do just nicely for the Scholars.
Chasetown’s next action, though, sees them entertain Burscough in the league on Saturday (October 9).
