A Burntwood green space has been prevented from becoming a domestic garden.
A proposal was submitted to Lichfield District Council for the six trees and common ground on Railway Lane.
But the local authority have refused permission for the change of use.
“The proposed change of use would result in the loss of an area of public amenity green space,” a decision notice from the council said.
