FAMILIES are being invited to enjoy a day of summer fun in Beacon Park.
Running from 11am to 3.30pm on 5th August, the event will feature activities including the Teddy Bear Games where adults and children can take part.
People can also explore the Barefoot Walk sensory trail, as well as enjoy face painting, crafts, inflatables, toys, sweet treats and food offerings.
A range of community organisations and emergency services will be attending with activities, advice and information.
Cllr Phil Whitehouse, cabinet member for operational services, parks and waste, said:
"Beacon Park Fun Day has become one of the highlights of our summer events programme, bringing together families, local businesses, charities and community organisations for a fantastic experience.
"Admission is free and there is a mixture of free and paid for activities. There is no need to book a place so come along and join in on the day."
