PART of a Fradley pub could be converted into a drive-thru restaurant if plans are approved.
The development has been earmarked for the non-listed section of The Fradley Arms.
The pub originally closed in 2022, but later reopened as an Indian bar and grill.
A planning statement said:
"The proposals involve a number of external works to the northern portion of the 1990s extension.
"To the front elevation it is proposed to create a shallow projection that incorporates a drive-thru service window with a projecting canopy above. It is also proposed to create a new plant access door, illuminated signage and install timber cladding to half of the gabled end.
"The proposals involve various internal alterations to the northern section of the 1990s extension at the building, including the partitioning of the space into a separate commercial premise with its own access, the creation of new partition walls and the creation of commercial plant space, serving space, customer seating areas and the provision of toilets."
The report added that the proposals would not impact the existing business.
"Following implementation of the proposals put forward, two commercial uses would operate on site."
