Police say a number of drivers face prosecution after being caught speeding on a stretch of road in Lichfield.
Officers launched a crackdown on Cappers Lane over the weekend after “community concerns” were raised over the speed some vehicles travel in the area.
A Staffordshire Police spokesperson said:
“Fifteen drivers were reported with speeds recorded up to 47mph on a 30mph road.
“One driver was arrested for drug driving under the influence of cocaine.”
