Eight new homes could be built on land behind a Lichfield pub if plans get the go-ahead.
Outline proposals have been submitted to transform the area at the rear of The Greyhound Inn on Upper St John Street into eight homes.
The developers said in a statement supporting their application that the scheme was being put forward because the pub is “struggling to survive with minimal trade” and claimed that the location was ideal for new homes.
“The site is located such that it has good access to a wide range of services and facilities, including schools, shops and public transport,” the statement added.
