Former pupils at a private girls school near Lichfield are offering a scholarship to allow another student to follow in their footsteps.
The Abbots Bromley Guild, made up of ex-students at Abbots Bromley School, has agreed to pay for a 100 per cent scholarship – worth more than £20,000 a year.
The opportunity will be discussed at an open evening on November 4.
Prospective students and their families will also hear from two 11 year-old girls who gained a full scholarship last year, with their fees paid by the Guild and the school.
Madison Beadsmore joined from the Crescent Academy in Meir, while Rebecca Loundes joined Abbots Bromley School from St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School in Hednesford.
Executive head, Victoria Musgrave, said: “Rebecca and Madison are testimony to the wonderful range of opportunities at Abbots Bromley. They fitted into the school immediately and play a full part in school life.
“They are testament to the fact that we have a wonderful educational offering here which can be of benefit to the right state school pupils.”
The open evening starts at 6.30pm.
