FAMILIES are being invited to join the fun at Burntwood Town Council's Play in the Parks this summer.
Parks and open spaces will host the events which see attractions and activities, as well as free packed lunches for children.
Cllr Sue Woodward, chair of Burntwood Town Council said:
"Always very popular with children and adults alike, Play in the Parks brings our community together with support from local businesses and voluntary organisations.
"Our thanks go to The Noel Sweeney Foundation, Tesco Stronger Starts, Spar, Burntwood Be a Friend, Fun Club Hub, St John’s Church, St Anne’s Church, Spark and Burntwood Memorial Community Association for their support this year.
"Let's enjoy summer together and hope that the sun shines on us."
The events will take place on:
- 27th July – Chase Terrace Park
- 29th July – Spark at Springhill Academy
- 3rd August – Burntwood Park
- 5th August – St Anne’s Church
- 10th August – Burntwood Leisure Centre
- 12th August – Redwood Park
- 17th August – Burntwood Memorial Institute
