A CHARITY fun day is taking place at a Lichfield track.
The Curborough Sprint Course event is raising money for the Ifakara Bakery Project which helps fight food insecurity in rural Tanzania.
The family fun day and track experience takes place on 21st August will feature bouncy castles, face painting and kids activities, along with food and drink stalls.
There will also be a chance for visitors to drive their own car on the sprint track for £60, with all proceeds going to the charity, which helps create sustainable, community-run bakeries in the African nation.
Robin Johnson, trustee of the Ifakara Bakery Project said:
“This event is about bringing communities together, whether it’s for a family day out, a thrilling track experience, or to support an incredible cause.
“Every loaf of bread baked in Tanzania is a symbol of hope, opportunity and local empowerment.”
