Riders on horseback and on bicycles will then set off on a route around the city.
It will see them travel via Beacon Street, the A51, the Curborough Lakes development and Streethay where they will stop at the green space near the Central Co-op store.
The procession will then return to the city along Beacon Street by around 4pm before being escorted by the sword and mace bearers from Anson Avenue back to the Guildhall via Lichfield Cathedral.
A spokesperson said:
"Please give us a wave as we travel around Lichfield. We would love to see everyone and appreciate the support."
