A FORMER Burntwood student has received an honorary doctorate.
England goalkeeper Hannah Hampton, who attended Erasmus Darwin Academy, was recognised for her "exceptional achievements" in football by the University of Wolverhampton.
The award also acknowledged her role in inspiring the next generation of athletes.
Hannah said:
"I feel incredibly fortunate to receive this honour from the University of Wolverhampton."
