Plans to convert a former florists in Burntwood into an apartment have been approved.

The property at 44 High Street, Chasetown, has been empty since the family-run Sheila’s Flower Box business closed.
Planning chiefs at Lichfield District Council gave the scheme the go-ahead and it can now be converted into a two-bedroom home.
In a statement to planners, the developers said: “The proposed works are to convert an un-used retail shop into a dwelling, thus providing affordable accomodation for local people.”
