A former snooker hall in Burntwood is set to be converted into apartments.
Lichfield District Council planning chiefs gave the thumbs-up to a scheme to transform the one-time Diamond Snooker and American Pool site on Bridge Cross Road.
The first floor of the building will be converted into four properties.
The planning application said: “The proposed development will secure the full and beneficial use of the first floor of Lambourne House, a previously developed site, which has been vacant for some two years.
“The proposed residential use will be consistent with the mixed use character of the Burntwood/Sankey’s Corner town centre.”
