A FORMER leader of Burntwood Town Council has stood down.
Norma Bacon had represented the Summerfield and All Saints ward, but a notice on the authority’s website confirms a vacancy now exists.
A by-election will be held if ten residents in the area request a vote. If not, then the a new councillor would be co-opted by current members of the town council.
