Frustration for commuters as signalling fault disrupts cross city line trains in and out of Lichfield

Trains in Lichfield are returning to normal after disruption on the cross city line this morning.

Trains in Lichfield are returning to normal after disruption on the cross city line this morning (March 1).

A signalling fault was blamed for the disruption to West Midlands Railway services to and from Lichfield City and Lichfield Trent Valley.

However, passengers are being warned to expect further delays until 10am as trains return to normal.

New: Service between Birmingham New Street and Lichfield Trent Valley may be disrupted due to a fault with the signalling systems.
