The We Love Lichfield fund has been boosted by a £2,000 donation from Lichfield St Chad Rotary Club.
The cheque was handed over by the organisation’s president David Stainsby to the fund’s chairman Simon Price.
Mr Stainsby said:
“Due to COVID-19 and the lockdown we have had to cancel our two flagship fundraising events – Rotary Cars in the Park and the Lichfield Cathedral to Tamworth Castle charity run.
“However, we are delighted to have made this contribution to the fund as we know it supports so many needy groups across Lichfield district.”
