Plans for a new ambulance station in Lichfield have been given the go-ahead.
Lichfield District Council approved the scheme for land off Eastern Avenue.
The site was previously the home of Hepworth Building Products but will now be transformed into a community ambulance station.
It is one of a number of modernisation schemes being developed across the region by West Midlands Ambulance Service.
“Overall these proposals represent a high quality development, which reflects the continued use of the site and is appropriate for the location,” a statement supporting the project said.
Residents can view the plans and have their say on Lichfield District Council’s planning website.
