A Lichfield accountant has launched a new service to help stop high petrol and diesel costs eating into the profits of his clients.
Paul Bulzacchelli from Inspired Accountants has formed an alliance with Forecourt Fuels to offer a fuel card solution which saves an average of 3p per litre.
“Many small businesses are still suffering from the economic climate and the ever-increasing cost of fuel is adding to the pressure,” he said. “Any small advantage that businesses can gain is well worth it as it can make hundreds and even thousands of pounds difference per year.”
Clare Makepeace from Forecourt Fuels added: “Fuel prices have risen by about 20 to 25p in the last year. In reality for the average vehicle travelling 30,000 miles a year with an average 30mpg, this has meant the cost of fuel has risen by about £1,000 compared to the previous year.”
