A local author’s new book is exploring Lichfield through some of its iconic buildings.
Joss Musgrove-Knibb’s Lichfield in 50 Buildings has been released by Amberley Publishing.
A spokesperson for the publisher said the city’s unique history made it an engaging read.
“From the last quarter of the 7th century when St Chad wandered into a watery valley in the heart of the Kingdom of Mercia and decided to set up shop, through the the Black Death and English Civil War to the days of the Enlightenment when it was home to great minds such as Samuel Johnson and Erasmus Darwin, Lichfield has a proud and distinctive identity,” the said.
“This extraordinary history is embodied in the buildings that have shaped the city.
