Ivor Green’s men will be back on the road this afternoon (28th December) as they bid to remain top of the Midland Football League Premier Division.
Joe Haines netted twice in his 250th game for the club as Lichfield beat Atherstone Town 4-1 in their Boxing Day clash.
Meanwhile, this afternoon’s hosts held out for a goalless draw against neighbours 1874 Northwich in their previous encounter to see them stay 14th in the league table.
