A SHOW is stopping off in Lichfield as it heads out on tour after successful runs in London and at the Edinburgh Fringe.
Skedaddle Theatre Company's production of A Brief Case of Crazy will be at the Garrick on 19th September.
Set in an office space, the audience witness the embarrassing daily life of introvert Thomas who gets dragged out of his comfort zone and closer to his shy office crush Daisy by a magical briefcase.
Told through elements of puppetry, dance, object manipulation, mime and characterisation, the production draws inspiration from physical comedy's iconic history.
Writer, director, producer and performer, Rowan Armitt-Brewster, said:
"A Brief Case of Crazy represents those who are 'different' and 'awkward' in modern society, shining a positive light on their uniqueness, and encouraging the audience to work harder to accept these individuals and to celebrate them."
The show enjoyed a successful Edinburgh Fringe run in 2024 before heading to London in 2025 and winning an OFFWestEnd award this year.
It will now embark on a debut tour across the UK. Rowan added:
"I'm so excited to perform this piece for audiences around the country.
"All the hard work pays off in such a satisfying way when you feel the magic of a live audience experiencing a story with you, you can hear them laughing at the jokes, feel them being moved by tender moments, and getting hyped up by the choreography. I can't wait."
