A LOCAL film group is taking people on a journey through big screen bathrooms and sewers.
Lichfield Film Club is hosting a presentation from Dr Fran Pheasant-Kelly from the University of Wolverhampton on the role toilets play in the narrative of movies.
Such sites play a key part in scenes from Casino Royale, Trainspotting, Psycho, The Shawshank Redemption and Fatal Attraction.
A spokesperson said:
“If you’re intrigued to know more about how these seemingly mundane spaces are important settings in film, join Lichfield Film Club’s cinematic journey through the smallest room in the house at 7.30pm on 10th June at the Lichfield Garrick. Entry costs £5 on the door, or free if it’s your first meeting.”
