A Lichfield firm is utilising a Staffordshire scheme to help grow its business.

Marketing and communications specialists Reeves Green will be carrying out a re-brand after a successful application to the county’s Business Loan Fund.

The funding pot is run in partnership by Staffordshire County Council and not-for-profit lender BCRS. It offers loans of between £10,000 and £50,000 to local companies.

The company’s creative director Colin Reeves explained: “We saw a growth opportunity for the business and knew that we had to grab it with both hands. We needed finance for a really positive business development and that’s where the Staffordshire Business Loan Fund came into its own.”

Staffordshire County Council’s deputy leader Ben Adams added: “Our business loans fund has supported a wide range of small companies in Staffordshire at a time when lending from the banks can still prove difficult.

“Reeves Green is a long-established company with a comprehensive client base – supporting other businesses by promoting their services. We’re pleased to have been able to enable the business to progress and enjoy a successful future.”
