ORGANISERS of Lichfield Pride are on the lookout for volunteers to help the event become “better than ever”.
The event has grown in recent years to host a series of events alongside the annual march through the city.
But now the charity behind Lichfield Pride is looking for people to join the team.
A spokesperson said:
“The last couple of years have been incredible for Lichfield Pride – the growth, the support, the atmosphere, the impact on our city have all been amazing.
“But with that success, our small committee has been very stretched. So it’s time to grow.
“We’re now looking to welcome new individuals to join our committee who can help us move forward, become even better and strengthen what we already do so well.
“Whether that’s enhancing the expertise within the team or simply helping to spread the workload a little more sustainably.”
Organisers are particularly keen for volunteers with experience in marketing, finance and fundraising.
“Lichfield Pride is a registered charity, so all committee roles are voluntary but they have a huge impact on so many individuals, our community and our city.
