A Lichfield retailer is introducing promotions to thank customers for their patience during stock shortages caused by a cyber attack.

A LICHFIELD retailer is introducing promotions to thank customers for their patience during stock shortages caused by a cyber attack.

Shoppers have seen items missing and sparse shelves at Central Co-op groups after deliveries were disrupted by the incident.

The retailer is now emailing members with a voucher for £1.50 off a £15 shop and a a free coffee or £2 voucher when they spend £20 in store until 20th June.

Debbie Robinson, chief executive of Central Co-op, said:

“We are truly grateful for the support shown by our members and customers during a difficult time.

“These offers are a small gesture of thanks as we return to full service, putting the products you love back on shelves and continuing to put community at the heart of everything we do.”
