Lichfield rider Gary Mason is in determined mood as he heads for Croft for the next round of the British Superbikes Championship.

The MSS Colchester Kawasaki rider is hoping to shrug off the technical problems that have hampered him throughout the season.

And he’s also hoping to make the title hopefuls work for the championship.

He explained:

“All the attention is now on the top six title fighters, so we need to try and get up amongst them and make them work for their points. These last few races are my chance to show what I can do and I could do with some luck too!

“The bike worked well here last year and despite the bad grid position for race two at Cadwell, my lap times were really good and we battled through, so plenty of positives.”
