Lichfield RUFC recorded a win in their final pre-season friendly before the new 2019-2020 season.

The Myrtle Greens were away to Broughton Park in Manchester, with two tries coming from Cal Turner and a try each for Dave Gentle and Tom Day.
Director of rugby Dan Hemingway said: “It was an outstanding performance across the board, but I feel like we left a lot of points on the field through not being clinical.
“We dominated territory and possession through the first hour in particular.”
The final score was 22-24 to Lichfield.
Lichfield’s first league match is at home against Old Halesonians on Saturday (7th September).
