A NEW business is coming to Lichfield in a move which will see the city’s shopping centre fully let.

Gacha Claw has agreed a deal on 16a Bakers Lane in the M Three Spires.

The business will feature a venue serving bubble tea and light bites alongside colourful claw machines alongside a party room.

Catheen Leung, from Gacha Claw, said:

“Our vision for Gacha Claw is to bring entertainment, relaxation and joyful moments to the local community.

“We’ve created a bright, family-friendly space where people can play, enjoy sweet treats and celebrate together.

“We’re excited to become part of the vibrant M Three Spires community and contribute something positive to Lichfield.”

The agreement on the unit means the site is fully let after Co-op Travel took a ten-year lease on 31 Bakers Lane and Savers opened on a similar length deal in the former Bodycare shop at 22 Bakers Lane.

The centre’s owner M Core has also extended the lease with Sports Direct for another five years.

It comes as footfall figures reveal a 2% increase in shoppers, with more than 2.4million visits recorded in 2025 – and an year-on-year increase of 10% in December compared to the same month in 2024.

Barry Flint, director and asset manager for M Three Spires, said:

“Reaching full occupancy is a fantastic milestone for us. We’re thrilled to welcome Gacha Claw, Savers and Co-op Travel – and we’re delighted that Sports Direct will continue to be part of the centre.

“Our mix of leisure, services and top national brands means we’re offering even more choice for our customers while building long-term value for the city centre.”
