EIGHT goals were shared equally as Lichfield Hockey Club’s women wrapped up their campaign against Birmingham University 3rds.
The students proved to be tough opponents and had the better of the first half, taking an early lead with a short corner before adding a second shortly afterwards.
Lichfield hit back when Amy Palmer netted late in the first half to make it 2-1.
The second half got off do a disastrous start though as the university side stretched their lead inside 30 seconds of the restart.
But the city women hit back as Rebecca Popple and Ella Delderfield levelled things up.
The students again got in front though with a fine strike.
Lichfield got the point their efforts deserved when Delderfield laid the ball off to Liv Straw who slotted home for a 4-4 draw.
