A local business has confirmed it will sponsor Lichfield Cathedral’s Christmas tree.
Cutlery and giftware firm Arthur price has stepped in as part of a partnership agreement with the cathedral.
The Christmas tree is the focus of various events, including the To Be A Light and St Giles Hospice Light up a Life services.
Simon Price, CEO of Arthur Price, said: “We are very lucky to have such a magnificent cathedral on our doorstep. Whether it’s a time of celebration or contemplation the Cathedral, the Close and everything that surrounds it makes Lichfield a very special place.
“Christmas time at the Cathedral is extra special and it is my privilege to sponsor the tree and help welcome people to the vast array of events being staged this year for all the family.”
