Representatives of a Burntwood organisation have found a messy way to raise money – by being gunged!

The chair of Forward Action Burntwood (FAB), Sharon Whitchurch, and vice-chair Michael Pritchard put themselves forward as victims for the event at Ridgeway Primary School.

More than £240 was raised, with the money going to the school and FAB.

Sharon – who works as a teacher at Ridgeway – said: “It was great to see so many people there to support not only the school but FAB too.

“The gunge cord was pulled by Michael’s son and a child in my class.”
