The finishing touches have been put on the new performing arts and community space at Nether Stowe School.

Link seating has been delivered to complete the Samuel Johnson Centre for Performing Arts refurbishment, which has been funded by section 106 money.
June Evans, the school’s business manager said: “Thanks to this funding pot, we have a brilliant space for both students and the community and the chairs really are the finishing touch.
“We wanted something versatile and, importantly, very comfortable, so we are delighted and we think the users will be too.”
Within the next few months the space will see the addition of a kitchen area for refreshments during performances, meetings or other events.
The Samuel Johnson Centre is available for hire by local businesses, groups and the community. More information is available from the school on 01543 263446.
