A new report has revealed that 13 per cent of youngsters are living in child poverty in Lichfield and Burntwood.
The figure is two per cent less than the county average and and well below the national average of 21 per cent.
The Staffordshire County Council study also revealed the results of the 2012/13 Young People’s Survey.
Of more than 1,700 who responded across the county, nine out ten said their local area was a good place to live.
More than a third of young people said they volunteered to help with groups and activities at least once a month, while 65 per cent said they had witnessed bullying in schools.
