Passengers travelling to and from Lichfield on the cross city line are facing cancellations or delays of up to 20 minutes.
A signal fault has been blamed for the problem which is affecting services using Lichfield City and Lichfield Trent Valley.
A spokesperson for London Midland said: “Some lines are blocked.
“Train services may be cancelled or delayed by up to 20 minutes.”
