People living around Lichfield have been given a rare glimpse of an historic hero of the skies.
The Lancaster Bomber took to the air as part of a World War Two re-enactment photography event in Abbots Bromley.
Clear skies meant people in villages around Lichfield were also able to catch a glimpse of the vintage military aircraft as it travelled across the region.
