LOCAL people are being encouraged to support the St Giles Hospice Lottery and be in with a chance of winning cash prizes.
For £1 per entry, players can win one of 55 guaranteed prizes every week, including a £1,000 jackpot.
Regular lottery players who sign up before 4th September are also automatically entered into the annual Superdraw, where one lucky winner will take home a guaranteed £10,000 when the draw takes place on 16th October.
Every ticket sold helps St Giles Hospice continue providing specialist end of life care for local people living with a terminal illness. The weekly lottery has raised more than £750,000 for the hospice in the past year alone.

"Every £1 ticket helps us continue to provide compassionate care for local people when they need us most."
Previous winner Colin Castree said:
"I was walking down the street, when I got the call to say I'd won £1,000. I was stunned.
"Then I remembered I’d won £5 in a previous lottery draw and used it to get five more tickets. One of those tickets turned out to be the winner."
