Plans to build 20 homes on the site of a former pub in Burntwood have been rejected.
Developers had hoped to get the go-ahead for 12 houses and eight apartments on land where The Greyhound once stood on Boney Hay Road.
But Lichfield District Council planning bosses described the proposals as an “over-intensive development”.
The latest rejection follows a number of previous schemes to redevelop the land in recent years.
Full details of the proposals together with the rejection notice can be seen on Lichfield District Council’s planning website.
