Scouts in Mile Oak could get a new base if plans get the go-ahead.
The former building has already been demolished and now designs have been submitted to Lichfield District Council for approval.
If given the green light, the new single-storey Scout Hut would be built on the land off Manor Road.
A statement supporting the application added: “The proposed development would allow an existing site to be utilised for its original use and thus allow the scouts group to operate.
“This will have a positive impact in the local community as it will facilitate recreational activities for a range of age groups.”
