Plans have been drawn up for a new self storage facility in Lichfield.
An application has been submitted to Lichfield District Council for land off Cherry Orchard, near the junction with Upper St John Street.
Lichfield Self Storage has already moved some containers onto the site but they are not currently in use.
In a statement supporting the application, the company said: “It is intended that this site will operate on the basis of self-storage only, and once the containers are in place, they will be retained in position.
“There are no proposals for this site to become a container depot.”
Around 38 metal containers are planned for the site.
