An empty Lichfield shop could be given a new lease of life if plans to convert it into a hair salon get the go-ahead.
A proposal has been put before planning chiefs at Lichfield District Council to redevelop the Soda Streat shop on Bird Street.
The application would see work carried out to convert the former sandwich bar into a salon.
The proposal states:
“The ground floor unit has been extended and modified from original, consequently it is currently very run down and does not have original or architectural features to speak of.”
Drawings submitted with the application show a proposed frontage for The Hair Kitchen. An internal mock-up shows plans for nine hairdressing stations in the new layout.
