New light could be shed on Chasetown’s police station if a sign is given the go-ahead by planning chiefs.
Staffordshire Police have submitted a planning application to Lichfield District Council requesting permission to install a new illuminated sign.
The so-called totem signage would measure 1 metre x 3 metres x 1.1 metres and replace the existing sign at the High Street police station.
The force have also requested permission to erect a smaller, wall-mounted sign at the station.
Members of the public can view the proposals in detail and have their say on Lichfield District Council’s planning website.
