Private school near Lichfield to showcase scholarship opportunities

Published:

Students are being invited to apply for scholarships to a leading private school near Lichfield.

Details of the opportunity will be on offer at a sixth form information evening at Abbots Bromley School on October 1.

Scholarships and bursaries at the 140 year-old school range from 20 per cent to 100 per cent of fees for traditional academic subjects as well as study areas such as riding, dance and music.

People attending the event will get the chance to meet staff and pupils, including scholarship student Anna Tomlinson, 17, who recently won her dressage class at the Pony Club national championships. She holds scholarships in riding and musical theatre.

Abbots Bromley School’s executive head, Victoria Musgrave, said: “The event will provide an excellent opportunity for parents to find out about the range of academic opportunities at the school and the wide variety of scholarships and bursaries available.

“These scholarships may cover up to 100 per cent of fees and cover day pupils, boarders or weekly boarders so provide a tremendous opportunity for the right youngsters.”

The sixth form information evening will begin at 6.15pm on October 1 and is open to both new and existing parents of the school.
