Staff and students at Chase Terrace Technology College are celebrating after a successful Ofsted inspection.
The school was awarded ‘good’ for all areas after inspectors said it was a “happy and caring school which prepares students well for their future success”.
Headteacher Dr Stuart Jones said: “This report is a validation of a great deal of hard work done by staff and governors over the past few years.
“We have a fantastic group of young people at Chase Terrace and a very supportive parent body and wider community and I am delighted that this is reflected in the commentary.
“The inspection outcome is the foundation for further continuous improvement. As noted in the report, we are very ambitious for the future success of every member of this school community.”
Inspectors also commended the school after year-on-year improvements in GCSE results.
