Staff shortages leave passengers travelling to and from Lichfield on the cross city line facing an evening of delays

Passengers using the cross city line to and from Lichfield are facing an evening of delays.

Train operator London Midland has blamed a shortage of train crew for the issue which has led to a number of cancellations.

A number of bus routes are accepting London Midland tickets, although some passengers have said there are issues of availability beyond Blake Street.
